we lost a selfless firefighter. His memory lives on here.
Thank you to everyone who gave blood in honor of Tre' from the time he was hospitalized until today. In the last six months, 611 of you donated blood to the Blood Bank of Hawaii in Tre's memory.
Each blood donation has the potential to save three lives. With 611 blood donations, there's a possibility of saving 1,833 lives in the last six months.
"We would like to thank the family and their friends for all their efforts in helping encourage people to donate. The impact this makes on our community is immeasurable. There very well may have been people who donated for the Tre' for the first time that will become life-long donors. So on behalf of everyone at Blood Bank of Hawaii we are eternally grateful for the impact you fold had and are still making on our community."
Tre’ loved being a firefighter. He gave the ultimate sacrifice. There is no sacrifice greater.
At our three community events, you took a moment to thank our community's first responders with thank you cards filled with words of gratitude for their sacrifice and service to our community We delivered over 250 of your thank you cards to our first responders.
Over 500 families had an opportunity to Live Like Tre' at Live Like Day's on Maui, Moloka'i, and Hawai'i island. Families spent time together, showed love and appreciated to each other and commnity, had tons of fun, and helped to support Live Like Tre' Foundation's mission of to continue Treʻs legacy of kindness, love, and living in aloha.
Small acts of kindness was Tre’s thing. We’ve lost count of the amount of oil changes, brake pads, and tool sheds he’s helped with. Many things were done without asking. He just showed up. Did the work. Smiled while doing it. Refused to take anything in return. He was reliable. He found joy in helping. It was the little things he did that made you feel loved. Over 175 small of acts of kindness have been done in honor of Tre', increasing the amount of people who feel loved and appreciated daily.
12 firefighter families and counting have received financial assistance after losing their homes in the Maui Fires.
In partnership with American Savings Bank and Darren Keala and donors like you we helped over 200 families with christmas gifts for keiki who lost their homes to the catastrophic Maui fires. Tre' was a master gift giver. We hope his love was felt by all of those who received a gift this season.
Six well deserving college students received scholarships to help them in their college journey.
